How can moments of tension generate intimacy within the self and others around us? Inspired by the proven power, yet elusive nature of authentic human touch and a rocky comeback from pandemic conditions, Kenia Rosete Dance presents, in the fold, a multi-media performance weaving dance, music, video projection and sculptures through a series of folding and unfolding actions that bring forth multiple textures of connection.

Music composition by Kiernan Robinson, visual art by Hong Wu, live music by Nicole DeMaio & Bradley Frizzell, lights by Eulàlia Comas, costumes by Meagan Woods and movement collaboration with dancers. Supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund.
